Melon-In Whiskey/bourbon
Ingredients

- Whiskey/bourbon
- 1.5 oz
- watermelon puree (or muddled watermelon)
- 1.0 oz
- fresh lemon juice
- .75oz
- allspice simple*
- Garnish
- Lemon wheel or watermelon wedge
- Glassware
- Dbl rocks/ old fashioned
How to Prepare
In a shaker with ice, combine all ingredients and shake vigorously for 10 seconds—strain over new ice and garnish. Add Allspice simple syrup in a quart container: add half a quart of sugar, one tablespoon of ground Allspice, then fill with hot water. Stir till sugar dissolves. Makes 1 quart.
